Cone Cupboard keeps the club's kit cupboard on your device and nowhere else. Here is exactly what that means.
Cone Cupboard is a kit cupboard log for grassroots football clubs. It runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no server and no analytics.
Everything below is written to the app's own private storage area on your device and is readable only by Cone Cupboard. None of it is transmitted anywhere.
| Data | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Kit lines — name, category, size, count, order level, condition, shelf, notes, dates | Typed by you |
| Item photos | Taken with the camera or chosen from your photo library |
| Sign-out records — item, coach or team name, quantity, session, dates, notes | Typed by you |
| Checklists and packed bags | Typed by you and ticked off in the app |
| Season log entries | Written by the app as you work |
| Shelves, coaches and teams | Typed by you |
| Preferences — appearance, row density, haptics, sounds, reminder settings | Set by you |
The app asks for the camera only at the moment you tap to photograph a kit item, and for your photo library only when you choose an existing picture. A picture you pick is resized and copied into the app's own storage. The app never reads the rest of your library, never uploads a photo and never asks for location data.
Reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on your device: kit that is due back, a weekend summary of what is still signed out, a note when a line falls under its order level, and an optional nudge before you leave for a fixture. No notification is sent from a server and no device token is collected. Permission is asked in context the first time you arm a reminder, never on launch.
Cone Cupboard has no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier and no tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests at all, so nothing can be sent anywhere. The app is not used to track you across other apps or websites, and its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
Sign-outs are recorded against the coach or team names you enter. Those names stay on your device with everything else. You can edit or delete them at any time, and resetting the cupboard in Settings removes them.
The app is a record-keeping tool for club volunteers and is not directed at children. It collects nothing that would identify anyone, and every name in it is typed by you.
Because no personal data ever reaches us, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or similar laws. All of your data is already in your hands, on your device, and you can remove it yourself at any time.
If this policy changes, the updated version ships inside the app and is published here, and the date below changes with it.
